A Split-Half Reliability Study of the Minnesota Child Development Inventory-Spanish Version Based on a Hispanic Migrant PopulationAuburn University, AL
Auburn University, AL
Auburn University, AL The Minnesota Child Development Inventory-Spanish Version (MCDI-SV), a parental report assessment, was completed for 1,043 Hispanic migrant worker children ranging in age from 12 to 71 months. The MCDI-SV is a widely used instrument for screening and assessment within migrant early intervention programs. This study analyzed the reliability of the MCDI-SV to determine if the instrument is suitable for use with this minority population. Overall, the MCDI-SV appears to be a reliable instrument for the Hispanic migrant population for the 24-to-71 months age range.
