Reliability and Validity of the Conners Teacher Rating Scale—28 (CTRS-28)Bradley T. Erford, Loyola College in Maryland Internal consistency and construct and criterion-related validity of the Conners Teacher Rating Scale—28 (CTRS-28) were studied, with particular emphasis on its utility as a measure of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD) and other disruptive behavior disorders. Subjects were teachers of 540 boys and girls ages 5-10. Internal consistency of the factors ranged from.87 to.94. Convergent validity with similar rating scales generally yielded adequate, but not strong, relationships.
