Factorial Validity of the KeyMath-Revised

David W. Walker

David W. Walker is Assistant Professor, University of Southern Mississippi.

Lynne S. Arnault

Lynne is Associate Professor, Mississippi State University.

This study examined the construct validity of the KeyMath-Revised by testing the factorial model proposed by the test author through the use of confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis. The results of this study failed to confirm the proposed factorial model and suggested that the KeyMath-Revised assesses two distinct domains rather than the three proposed by the test author.
